Catalina Mini Backpack purse has two curved side zippered pockets for stashing small items (like key fobs, credit cards, lip balm, etc!), a front slip pocket with a zippered pocket inside, and an optional cinch top with clasp opening. Inside is an additional slip pocket and zippered pocket.

MY FIRST SEWING PATTERN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT! MINI-MESSENGER BAG

I am just getting started as an aspiring bag sewing pattern designer. I am starting pretty simple with something that I thought would be a useful type of bag for me. I have fabric to make it in several different colors, which I will use while I am perfecting the pattern. When it’s done I am going to need some awesome pattern testers! You get a free pattern, I get some feedback and photos of what you made! My hopes for this blog are that I can share some sewing tips for beginners to certain techniques, while getting help with the development of my patterns 🙂
